Custom industrial enclosures

Custom NEMA 4 Enclosures for Harsh Environments

Engineered for indoor and outdoor exposure to splashing water, windblown dust, and hose-down conditions. Enclosuremfg fabricates sealed enclosures for industrial pump rooms, heavy workshops, and demanding OEM applications.

  • Stainless-steel corners with continuous full-seam welding
  • Door-frame rain gutters and drainage channels divert water away from the seal
  • Solid, unperforated door panels help preserve enclosure integrity

Built around the details that protect the seal

Full-seam welding, carefully formed door channels, and fewer enclosure joints support dependable protection in demanding installations.

Engineering for enclosure integrity

Design sealing into the structure

Our five-person engineering team applies design for manufacturing (DFM) to each project. We focus on the welds, bends, hardware, and door geometry that can affect sealing in the field.

01 / Welded corners

Continuous seam construction

TIG and laser welding create continuous corner seams, reducing potential ingress points. Controlled, low-heat input helps limit thermal distortion.

02 / Moisture management

Formed rain gutters

Precision-bent door-frame gutters and drainage channels direct water away from the door seal and help prevent pooling when the enclosure is opened.

03 / Solid-face design

Keep unnecessary penetrations out of the door

We prioritize unperforated door and top panels. Where cable entry is needed, base-plate entry systems or blind-fastener designs can help avoid unnecessary openings in exposed surfaces.

In-house manufacturing

Control from sheet metal to finish

Keeping production in-house helps reduce lead times and avoid subcontracting bottlenecks. Our capabilities support consistent fabrication from raw material through protective finishing.

Oversized units, built as one

Six-meter fabrication platforms and a large-format powder coating tunnel accommodate large machinery housings and outdoor substation cabinets as single, structurally sound units—reducing joints and the number of gaskets required.

Production capabilities

Processes selected to support precise fit, consistent sealing, and durable finishes.

Quality assurance

Check the details before shipment

Our six-person QA/QC team uses a closed-loop inspection process to validate fabrication against your requirements and CAD files.

  1. 01

    Material verification

Incoming steel and stainless-steel sheets are checked for gauge and alloy consistency.

  2. 02

    First-article inspection

Critical dimensions—including bend angles and door alignment—are verified against your 3D CAD files.

  3. 03

    Weld-seam checks

For high-stakes applications, structural integrity checks assess weld seams for porosity that could compromise enclosure protection.

Material selection

Match the material to the installation

Material choice affects both service life and maintenance costs. We help your team select a grade and thickness suited to the environment without overspending, while maintaining the required structural rigidity.

Carbon steel

A practical choice for climate-controlled or indoor industrial settings, where a durable powder-coated finish provides suitable corrosion protection.

Stainless steel 304 or 316

Recommended for wash-down environments, food processing, and coastal installations where salt spray calls for greater oxidation resistance.
