CNC sheet metal forming

Precision Bending for Complex Industrial Enclosures

Enclosuremfg helps R&D engineers and procurement teams produce accurate, assembly-ready sheet metal parts. From compact chassis to long machinery frames, we combine 3D CAD review, experienced operators, and CNC angle compensation to reduce interference and cumulative bend error.

Precision CNC bending for industrial sheet metal enclosures

Controlled forming for long panels, multi-bend parts, and enclosure assemblies.

Forming capacity

The right press brake for every scale

Our five-machine CNC fleet spans OG35 through OG200 tonnage, matching machine capacity and tooling to part size, material, and bend sequence.

Machine type Capacity Typical application
OG35 CNC press brake 35 tons Small chassis and precision electronic brackets
OG100 CNC press brake 100 tons Mid-sized panels and standard electrical boxes
OG200 CNC press brake 200 tons Large structural panels and heavy-duty enclosures

Five CNC press brakes in total, with multiple tonnages available for high-mix, medium-volume production.

Design for manufacturability

Prevent interference before the first bend

Incorrect bend allowance and material spring-back can make adjacent flanges collide or cause assembly failures. Our five-person engineering team reviews 3D CAD models and drawings before production to identify risks and plan the forming sequence.

01 / Model review

Check the geometry

DFM review checks bend allowances, flange relationships, and tooling access before parts are cut.

02 / Sequence planning

Account for clearance

For closed-box enclosures, operators plan tooling clearance and bend order to avoid collisions between adjacent flanges.

03 / Angle compensation

Control spring-back

Experienced technicians work with CNC angle compensation to target angular tolerances within ±0.5° across complex sequences.

Long panels need controlled, repeatable forming

For long cabinet bodies and oversized panels, machine selection and operator oversight help limit twisting and cumulative angular error across multiple bends. High-tonnage CNC platforms also help prevent oil-canning on larger sheets.

Inspection and verification

Quality checks built around your assembly

A dedicated six-person QA/QC team treats each project as a closed-loop process, verifying part features against your engineering drawings before shipment.

Discuss your inspection requirements

First-article inspection for every new batch

  • ✓Bend angles: verified against drawing requirements, with a target tolerance of ±0.5°.
  • ✓Flange lengths: checked to support consistent fit and assembly.
  • ✓Hardware positions: inspected against engineering drawings.
  • ✓Project requirements: checked against specified NEMA or IP requirements.

Common questions

Planning a precision bending project?

How do you reduce cumulative angle error on long cabinet bodies?+

We pair experienced technicians with CNC angle compensation, suitable machine capacity, and planned bend sequences to control spring-back and limit twisting across multiple bends.

Can you review closed-box enclosure designs for flange interference?+

Yes. Our engineering team reviews 3D CAD and considers tooling clearance and forming order to identify potential collisions before production.

What files should I send for a quote?+

Send STEP, DXF, or PDF drawings along with material, quantity, finish, and any dimensional or NEMA/IP requirements you have.
