Welding, sealing and material choices for long service life
Welding and surface preparation
Low-heat laser welding minimizes distortion on stainless and carbon steel seams. MIG and TIG stations handle structural joints requiring higher strength. Triangular belt grinding creates consistent finishes to support uniform powder-coat adhesion across edges and corners.
Materials and hardware
Choose 2 mm or 3 mm mild steel or 304 stainless steel according to corrosion risk. Automated clinch equipment installs captive fasteners to maintain panel alignment, while carefully formed gasket channels help compression seals seat correctly at first assembly.
