Heavy-duty industrial fabrication
Large Electrical Enclosure Fabrication for Industrial Power Systems
Enclosuremfg manufactures large electrical enclosures and floor-standing cabinets for factory central substations, large variable-frequency drives (VFDs), and automation control stations. Our in-house team supports engineering review, laser cutting, heavy bending, structural welding, hardware insertion, and powder coating for assemblies up to 6 meters.
With ten 2000 × 6000 mm steel assembly platforms and a 200-ton-class press brake, we are equipped to fabricate and align heavy, oversized floor-standing cabinets.
Integrated fabrication for large-format cabinets, structural panels, and multi-bay assemblies.
Designed around the application
Built for large, heavy-duty cabinets
A large electrical enclosure must support installed equipment, withstand handling and transport, and remain aligned through assembly and service. Frame design, door layout, lifting features, mounting patterns, and interfaces all influence fabrication and installation.
Heavy structural assemblies
Floor-standing and multi-bay configurations with reinforced frames and load-bearing structures.
Doors and access
Customer-defined multiple access doors, clearances, and interlocked door arrangements.
Equipment integration
Mounting provisions for electrical and automation equipment, based on supplied drawings.
Handling and protection
Specified lifting holes or other lifting features, with protective powder-coated finishes.
Final dimensions, materials, door functions, and protection requirements are set by your drawings and specifications.
Engineering before production
Structural review for oversized cabinets
Our five-person mechanical and manufacturing engineering team reviews designs for fabrication risks before release. Reviews can cover frame layout, sheet-metal development, bend allowances, weld access, hardware locations, and assembly sequence.
Frame and support review
We calculate and review frame load paths against the loads and design information supplied for the project.
Reinforced lifting-hole areas
Where lifting holes are specified, we assess the surrounding structure and reinforce those areas as required by the design to help reduce local deformation during handling.
Door and interlock coordination
We review door layouts and specified interlock requirements against hinges, clearances, and adjoining panels.
We can review 3D CAD data and manufacturing drawings, flag potential fit or access issues, and coordinate revisions before production. Final structural calculations and validation requirements should be defined with your engineering team.
In-house manufacturing
Heavy fabrication capacity under one roof
Integrated sheet-metal operations keep major process handoffs and production status within one manufacturing team.
200-ton-class CNC bending
Five CNC bending machines include an OG200 machine in the 200-ton class, alongside OG100 and OG35 machines for varying part requirements. Engineering review considers bend sequence, flange geometry, reliefs, and tooling access.
Ten large steel platforms
Ten 2000 × 6000 mm assembly platforms support setup and welding of long sections and multi-panel structures, including projects with overall dimensions in the 4–6 meter range.
Cutting and hardware
Three fiber laser cutting machines, including 12 kW and 6 kW systems, work alongside automated clinching for PEM hardware, servo tapping, and drilling-tapping systems.
Multiple welding processes
MIG, TIG, handheld laser, and cold-welding equipment are selected according to the part and finish. Low-heat-input laser welding can help limit cosmetic distortion on suitable joints; MIG and TIG support structural and stainless-steel applications where specified.

Door, lifting, and installation features
Access and handling details are easier to manage when included in the initial design package. We fabricate customer-defined door arrangements, mounting features, and lifting provisions.
- Multi-door cabinets: Share the required interlock arrangement, hardware details, and interface information. Hardware and electrical behavior depend on the project design.
- Lifting features: Provide the intended lifting method, load information, and applicable project requirements so hole locations and surrounding reinforcement can be reviewed.
- Mounting and interfaces: Include equipment mounting patterns and enclosure interface details in the drawing package.
Industrial finish and quality
Finishing and checks for production readiness
Our in-house powder-coating line accommodates parts up to 2500 × 6000 mm and includes pretreatment, powder application, and thermal curing. Stainless-steel surface conditioning, including brushed and satin finishes, is available where specified.
Six full-time QA/QC specialists support checks from material verification through production and shipment. Inspection planning is matched to project scope and supplied documentation.
- Incoming material verification
- In-process dimensional and fit checks
- First-article inspection
- Weld, finish, and final shipment checks
Include coating type, color, finish, masking or grounding requirements, inspection plans, documentation, and acceptance criteria in your RFQ.
Projects and production
For industrial OEMs and power-system integrators
The service suits high-mix, low-to-medium-volume production. Typical batches range from 10 to 500 units, with recurring supply programs also supported.
Each project is assessed against dimensions, material, forming and welding needs, finish, interfaces, and production quantity to establish a practical manufacturing route before quotation.
