Designed for roadside systems
Protection, ventilation, and service access—planned together
Traffic cabinets protect sensitive electronics in exposed locations. We fabricate to customer drawings and specifications, with project-specific provisions for airflow, rain protection, cabling, mounting, and serviceability.
Natural airflow, rain-aware geometry
Louver layout can be reviewed against airflow needs, cabinet orientation, wind-driven rain exposure, and internal equipment clearances.
Reinforced, project-specific structure
Reinforcements and mounting interfaces can be designed around defined installation conditions, impact loads, and acceptance criteria.
Hardware and service access
Doors, removable panels, hinges, locks, inserts, cable access, and internal mounting provisions follow the project drawing and hardware requirements.
Specialty outdoor finishes
Customer-specified coating systems can address UV exposure, graffiti resistance, or anti-adhesion performance when supported by defined specifications and validation.
Standards and validation: Performance requirements vary by system and jurisdiction. We do not claim compliance with a particular traffic, NEMA, IP, impact, or coating standard unless it has been defined and verified for the project. Include applicable standards and test criteria in your RFQ.
In-house manufacturing
One facility for the main fabrication steps
Our 50-person team includes five mechanical and manufacturing engineers and six QA/QC specialists. In-house production helps reduce fabrication-to-finishing handoffs and coordinates quality across the process.
| Process | In-house capability | Project value |
|---|---|---|
| Laser cutting | Three fiber laser machines with 12 kW and 6 kW sources | Accurate profiles for panels, door openings, vents, and mounting patterns |
| CNC bending | Five press brakes: two OG35, two OG100, and one OG200 | Formed panels and structural parts across enclosure sizes and complexity |
| Hardware insertion | Automated clinching equipment and tapping systems | Repeatable specified PEM nuts, studs, standoffs, and threaded features |
| Welding | 24 laser, MIG, TIG, and cold-welding units | Process selection based on material, joint design, strength, and visible surfaces |
| Finishing | In-house preparation, powder coating, and curing | A single facility coordinating fabrication and coating |
| Large-format coating | Automated powder coating line up to 2500 × 6000 mm | Supports oversized cabinets and assemblies within the stated envelope |
| Inspection | Six full-time QA/QC specialists | Checks from incoming material through in-process and pre-shipment inspection |
Heavy-duty fabrication tables accommodate assemblies up to 2000 × 6000 mm. Share overall dimensions and assembly breakdown early so handling, welding, and coating feasibility can be confirmed.
Technical design considerations
Ventilation and weather protection start with the requirements
Louver geometry affects airflow, rain ingress, panel strength, and space for internal components. We can fabricate natural-airflow louvers to your drawing or review the proposed layout during DFM. Opening size, orientation, spacing, and internal barriers depend on heat load and environmental criteria.
- 01Define required airflow or thermal-management criteria.
- 02Provide cabinet orientation and expected wind-driven rain exposure.
- 03Share internal component layout, clearances, screens, filters, or rain shields.
- 04Identify enclosure performance standards and required validation.
We can flag conflicts between openings, bends, welds, hardware, and mounting space. Louvers alone do not establish an ingress-protection rating; environmental performance must be confirmed against your criteria and tests.
Structure and outdoor finish
Durability depends on the complete design: material and thickness, reinforcement, doors and latches, mounting points, welds, installation method, and finish. We can fabricate details to customer drawings, including structures intended for project-defined impact loads.
For UV resistance, anti-graffiti performance, or anti-adhesion coating, specify the coating system, test method, and target performance in the RFQ. These properties depend on selected materials and validation; they are not implied by standard powder coating.
Include coating details
Confirm largest part or assembly dimensions, masking areas, coating thickness, color reference, surface preparation, load cases, test methods, and acceptance criteria.
Engineering before production
A practical DFM review can resolve production questions early
Our five-person engineering team reviews CAD and drawings for sheet metal unfolding, bend allowances, assembly access, and production details before manufacturing.
Still developing your design? Send a 3D model, preliminary layout, or dimensioned concept to discuss manufacturability and clarify missing production information before a purchase order is released.
Bends and clearances
Identify conflicts that could obstruct assembly or service access.
Vent and equipment layout
Check louver locations against equipment, reinforcement, and clearances.
Hardware and tooling
Review positions for insertion access and specified hardware installation.
Welds, finish, and handling
Consider visible surfaces, dimensional control, part size, coating, and assembly divisions.
Applications and production scope
Choose a process that fits the traffic system
We support high-mix, low-to-medium production, with typical batches of 10 to 500 units as well as recurring supply programs.
Signal-light master control cabinets
Provide controller dimensions, cable-entry locations, mounting patterns, ventilation needs, and door-access requirements.
Electronic traffic enforcement systems
Include camera, communications, and power interfaces, plus project-defined structural and surface-finish criteria.
Roadside monitoring and smart traffic
Specify equipment heat load, exposure conditions, service intervals, and the required balance between airflow and weather protection.
Large-format equipment housings
Share assembly dimensions early. The 2500 × 6000 mm coating line and 6-meter fabrication platforms may support large assemblies, subject to geometry and handling review.
For prototypes and low-to-medium volumes, early drawing review can prevent repeated design issues across a batch. For recurring orders, an agreed drawing revision, material specification, finish, and inspection plan help maintain consistency between production runs.
Prepare your RFQ
Specifications that help us quote accurately
A complete package makes it easier to select processes, quote the right scope, and identify technical questions before production.
| RFQ detail | Information to provide |
|---|---|
| Product and application | Signal controller, enforcement system, roadside monitor, or other use |
| Drawings and material | 2D manufacturing drawings, 3D CAD if available, material grade, thickness, and required certifications |
| Dimensions and ventilation | Cabinet envelope, part sizes, assembly breakdown, louver layout, airflow criteria, rain protection, screens, or filters |
| Structure and hardware | Mounting method, reinforcement, defined impact loads and tests, hinges, locks, inserts, studs, and gaskets |
| Finish and compliance | Color, coating specification, surface preparation, UV or graffiti test requirements, standards, inspections, and validation documents |
| Commercial scope | Prototype or production quantity, annual forecast, packaging, delivery destination, and target schedule |
If compliance testing, coating validation, or special inspection is required, state it at RFQ stage so scope and responsibility can be agreed before production.
